Bellarmine University’s Heritage Society exists for those Bellarmine donors who choose to create a lasting legacy at Bellarmine University by donating to an endowed scholarship or fund or by leaving a gift to Bellarmine in their will or other estate plans with a gift of $50,000 or more. Our Heritage donors are those who want to ensure that their gift and values last beyond their own lifetimes. In addition, our Heritage donors are often those who want to ensure that the charitable gifts left in their wills and other plans are constructed in such a way that they minimize the taxes their estates have to pay.

Heritage Society members either choose to make their gifts anonymous or they choose to have their gifts celebrated in our media and materials. In either case, they and their families are invited to attend select gatherings and events throughout the year. Those Heritage Society families with current scholarships also have the opportunity to meet and interact with their scholarship students on an annual basis. This enables donors to hear directly from their students about how their gift has enhanced their ability to obtain a quality Bellarmine education.
